They sneaky :)
Saturday, June 5th, 2004Yesterday saw a pleasant day at work for me, and then afterwards a concert. Quite a good concert if I do say so myself. I had the pleasure of running sound, which I thoroughly enjoy whenever I get the chance. Performing were 2 bands, Keep Right, which is my best friend John Kopinski’s band, and they were awesome to experience, as usual, and then following Keep Right’s excellent opening performance, Adam’s Apples, aka Christopher Adam, aka C. Adam P., aka a lot of other things (the band my brother plays bass in) performed an awesome show, which was also quite enjoyable.
Following this, my brother was kind enough to instigate having everyone at the concert sing me happy birthday, which was cool enough as it it, but then he also orchestrated, with Pink and my mother, the presence of a very large birthday cake with Superman theming, which was awesome. Thanks all involved in that. Anyway, pretty much best birthday (couple of days) ever. I had quite an enjoyable time.
Pictures are forthcoming of both the debacle at Joe’s and the cake.
Then today I had a great time rollberblading around and having a nice lunch outside during the glorious day with Francine, though I made her late for work, which I hope doesn’t cause her problems.
Afterwards, I headed home for various useful slackage with John. Overall, life is pretty good.
